Sardinia has a long and eventful history. Of great importance is the Neolithic period, dating back around 5,000 years. A testament to this era are the beautiful “Domus de Janas,” tombs carved into the rock.
During this tour, you will visit the village of Sedini and its “Domus de Janas,” which means “fairy houses” in Sardinian. It is one of the largest of its kind in Sardinia. This Domus de Janas was later used during the Middle Ages as a dwelling and, subsequently, as a prison.
The journey will take you through picturesque landscapes and small villages: from Laerru to Martis, passing through the vast area of the petrified forest, and finally reaching Tergu. The tour ends with a thrilling descent to the sea and a coffee break in the charming village of Castelsardo.
